Once you've finished the digital painting 101 series, you've got a couple different options.  For those that don't have any drawing experience, I recommend starting in section 2 of the free library:  Traditional Drawing.   If you already have experience with traditional media (pencil, charcoal, etc.) I recommend watching the digital demos in my Let's Paint series.
